Keep the door open

A gift here pays for the part of a case that costs money

Our lawyers' time is covered, but filing fees, medical records, expert reports and copying are not. Gifts and volunteer hours close that gap, so a client's case doesn't stall over a bill.

We're a small clinic, and we'd rather tell you exactly what a gift does than send a form letter. Call or write and we'll walk you through it.

Four ways to help

  • Give

Gifts go to case costs: records, experts and filing fees. Ask us about giving once, monthly or in someone's name.

  • Lend your license

Volunteer lawyers take part of a case, review a letter or sit second chair on a hearing.

  • Host a talk

We'll come to a church, a union hall or a classroom and explain what to do when rights are violated.

  • Send us a client

Social workers, counselors and teachers: tell people about us, or send a case we can look at.
